General Fund
General Fund giving provides crucial funding that is used to initiate new programs, fund departmental activities, and provide flexibility for meeting student and faculty needs.
Student Support
The best students are those that have taken full advantage of their educational opportunities, including traveling to national laboratories, participating in workshops, and presenting at conferences. Our department strives to produce the best students by supporting as many of these opportunities as possible for our students.
Field Courses
It is widely recognized that field training is pedagogically essential for integrating knowledge in geoscience, and it is crucial for employment in the hydrocarbon and environmental industries. The field trips that are part of our current course offerings and the Field Methods and Field Analysis courses provide an opportunity for the students to develop and evaluate explanations that address scientific questions in the field, and communicate and justify their proposed explanations.
Every donation makes a difference, regardless of size. Thank you in advance for your support!
