Samuel Hudziak
Sam Hudziak is a PhD candidate working in Dr. Peate’s research group. He is focused on a geochemical analysis of the Saunders Ash associated with Mt. Taranaki located on the North Island of New Zealand. Sam received his M.S from the department in 2021 after completing a Martian analogue investigation of Icelandic ventifacts using high-resolution 3D photogrammetry. Sam spent the summers of ’22 and ’23 interning with the Lunar Navigation and Mapping (LuNaMaps) group at NASA and has participated in multiple field analogue expeditions exploring volcanic terrains.
